Over ten years, the Jazz à Blauzac Festival has become a true institution, recognized for its quality, professionalism and spirit of sharing. The tenth edition in 2022 was particularly memorable.
After ten festivals and many additional concerts, the idea of passing the torch naturally arose. Despite several attempts to find successors, the task proved more difficult than expected.
After a two-year break and time for reflection, the association Les Soirées de Blauzac relaunched the festival in 2025, now shared between two villages: Blauzac and Saint-Maximin. This new chapter has given birth to Jazz en Uzège, a collaboration between the Communauté de Communes du Pays d’Uzès (CCPU), Les Soirées de Blauzac, and the Jour de Fête association from Saint-Maximin.
The new name reflects the ambition to establish jazz culture in the Uzège area and encourage other villages to join the initiative. The spirit of the festival, however, remains unchanged: conviviality, sharing and a passion for jazz.
